How are ya'll doing??? This week was
pretty good. The sickness continued, so some of it was spent inside.
This week it was Petersen who was sick. I was also getting over my
sickness so that was fun. Tuesday was a pretty exciting day. We had appointments all day. It started out with L., our Vietnamese
investigator. We were able to set a baptismal date with her for the
Saturday before I leave. I think that we can get her ready,
but it's going to take some work. So that was fun, we had a hard time
eating all the food that she gave us. Oh the pains that we go through as
missionaries....We then went to an appointment with A. That was
fun we just talked for a while and she got to know Petersen and that was
good. After that we went to K. He is doing alot better. We just
chilled with him and watched a bunch of Mormon Messages with him again.
So that is a good way to teach him.
On Wednesday, the Zone Leaders, Elders Dunshee and
Jones came on splits. That was fun because they also played basketball
with us after institute. That was alot of fun. Then splits were pretty
good. All of our appointments ended up canceling so it was very just
make it up as we go. Then that night we had an appointment with F.
He's one of our older investigators, but a very nice guy. He is a
health nut and showed us some Chinese gymnastics. It must have been a
hoot to see this old guy and two missionaries doing gymnastics moves.
Friday, we had to help an investigator, from
Greenland, cut her lawn or should a say rain forest. Literally,
the grass came up to my knees! She's moving now so we figured we'd
do this last thing for her.
Saturday, we kind of misjudged our health and how
much better we were feeling. We went to play soccer and we were
exhausted afterwards. Yesterday, we had church which was pretty good. We
went to the Schvanevelts and ate with them. I feel bad. They don't
speak Danish and are really struggling right now.
Hope you guys have a good week! Love and miss ya tons!
