Well, the stress didn't end there. The baptism started at
2pm. With 5 min until it started, no one had shown up yet! HC and I
are freaking out and all of a sudden EVERYBODY shows up. L. brought
around 15 friends and family with her and there was a member from Odense
that spoke Vietnamese who translated for L. It was awesome! Only 5
members of the ward showed up and the Bishop, but the baptism was good.
I wasn't able to get her arm underneath on the first try so we had to
do it twice. L. made so much food we literally would
have been able to feed the whole mission. We
got a lot of potential investigators from it, and her family really likes us!
But yeah, can't complain about going out that way.
It was so amazing to see L. and how happy she was. And to think that
we were thinking about postponing it. Now that was not inspiration.
Well, I am so grateful for these past two years. I
know that I did the right thing by coming out here. My testimony has
grown so much and I have learned so much about myself and come to know
my Heavenly Father so much. I am so grateful for the Atonement. I have
seen it work in others and my own life. I am so grateful and know that
Joseph Smith restored the true gospel to the world. Love it!
See ya Thursday!

William
A note from the Mom - I am so grateful for the blessing I have of being William's mom. I have learned so much from my children and these past two years have been no different. William has had his up's and down's as all missionaries do, but he has never once talked about quitting, and now he has finished his mission with honor. He is a great blessing to our family!
