How are you all doing? Well, the clock
is ticking on Elder Veach's mission life. This is a pretty big week
we've got coming up, but first this past week. We had a really good
appointment with L. We talked with her about the interview. At the
end she bore her testimony and it was very simple and in broken Danish,
but very powerful. Yesterday, she met with the bishop and talked about
joining the ward and baptism. I think that he was a little hesitant,
because of the language barrier, but ultimately that doesn't decide if
someone gets baptized thank goodness. So there is a baptism in Aalborg
on Saturday so that's exciting!
On Tuesday I had my last Zone Meeting where I gave
my final testimony. It was so weird! It was also kind of sad to say good-bye to alot of people. This week is District Meeting so I'll say good-bye to the last of them there. After that, we'll have splits with
the Zone Leaders for a few hours and then with Elder Wright the next day
so he can interview L.
After Zone Meeting, we had splits with the APs.
That was fun being with Elder Bailey and Elder Pierson again. Elders
Bailey and Petersen did a church tour while Pierson and I went and
visited a lady that he baptized who doesn't like
me at all I think. Afterwards, Bailey and I went to the boondocks to do some
referrals. The problem was that we couldn't find it where
it was supposed to be so we had to come back before we found it.
Well, this should be an exciting week what with it being the last one and all. Hope you guys have a great week! Love ya!
