First week in Søborg

Kære Familie,

Hope you guys are doing well.  This week was pretty good.  We're getting excited for Christmas and to talk to ya'll!!!  This week started out by going to Slagelse on Tuesay for my first ZL duties.  I had to run a contacting spree with that whole district.  That was fun, there was supposed to be a district meeting first, but the district leader from Nykøbing, Elder Falster, came two hours late so we had to go straight to contacting.  It was interesting contacting around the shops.  It took me back to my days with Roth when we would do that all the time.  One of the Elders wandered off for a little bit and that was a little stressful trying to find where he was at.  It was cool, because I contacted this girl that I taught who is the sister to a new convert that lives in Utah now.  It was cool and she wants to be taught again.  Afterwards, we went to Birthe's house!  That was so fun.  It was fun chatting with her and catching up with her again.  When you guys come out, we're totally going to visit her.

On Wednesday, Bailey and I got together and helped out with some transfer stuff and just worked.  It was really nice to have a car this week, but it's alot different than working with buses and walking.  I think it's going to take a little getting used to.  Our number of hours worked was really low, because we were spending so much time getting between places, but when it started snowing yesterday, I'm not going to lie, I was really grateful for the car.  Bailey and I are doing well.

We have some good investigators here.  Hopefully, we'll have a baptism in about 2 weeks.  This guy is way solid and is only worried about how to help his family understand how much he wants to be baptized.  We have a ton of other investigators that have a lot of potential and we have some high hopes for them.

The ward so far is super awesome!  We had an eating appointment with a family on Friday of almost all RM sons and their mom.  It was so funny hearing their stories and then comparing our own.  We also ate with Pres. Andersen's daughter and son-in-law.  I think their daughter really liked me.  It was way funny and went well.  I still meet in the same church building as in Ballerup, so a bunch of the old members came up to me and said hi.  This week we're going to a family for Christmas so we'll be able to skype.  Should be around 4-5pm our time so 10-11am your time.  I'm so excited.  It doesn't feel like Christmas at all.  It's really weird.  I didn't realize I'd be able to talk to you guys in less than a week.  Super stoked!!!

Last year Christmas time was really hard for missinonary work, because of the snow, cold, and just general lack of interest of people who would rather just sit at home and not be bothered.  But this year looks a lot better.  We have a bunch of appointments so it should make the work at least a little bit enjoyable.  Anyways.....

Hope you guys have a great week.  Love and Miss ya tons and can't wait to talk to you on Sunday!!!!  Hope you guys don't have church or anything when I get on.  If so let me know and we'll work out another time.  Also I'll let you know if our plans change.

P.S. Funny story, yesterday the bishop tried to pronounce my name in Sacrement and got it so wrong.  I'll tell you on Sunday!  :)
