Hey guys. Thanks for the birthday wishes. My birthday was pretty good. We had Stake Conference yesterday so it was cool to see people from Slagelse. It was a broadcast to all of Scandenavia. Elder Per G. Malm, Sister Beck, Elder Bednar, President Eyring all spoke. It was really good. Then we went to a way cool family to eat. They gave me a giant slab of chocolate. It was a good day overall. Of course, it was no where near as good as what it would be at home, but since I'm on a mission it could have been worse.
On Wednesday, we had Specialized Training. Those things are always boring, because they are the same thing over and over. Although this time, they yelled at us for not cleaning our apartments good enough. That was a nice change of pace. Then the next day I had a bad runny nose so most of it was spent inside away from other people. Then on Friday we had our district meeting and temple activity. It was amazing to be back in the temple for the first time in almost 7months. I did it in Danish, but it was still amazing to feel the spirit of the temple. It is a beautiful temple and I am very grateful for the spiritual recharge I was able to get.
But yeah because of those two things that took up the whole day not alot of work got done. Oh well, we'll work extra hard this week. One kind of interesting thing is that since it's summer, there's alot of members from the US coming on vacation. I've seen about 5 in the past week. Not to mention all the ones that were just like hi elders in Copenhagen on Monday. On our way to the temple, this guy from across the street yells, "Elders! Do you know where the temple is?" We're like yeah its about 500 ft ahead of you, but of course they had to walk with us there. I know my attitude is terrible. But It's just exasperating to be around them.
So yeah, really missed you guys. Pretty good week. I love and miss you guys a ton.
