Kære familie,
How you guys doing? Sorry about yesterday. Every single month there is some Danish holiday that is just an excuse to get off work and get drunk as a skunk. (It was Constitution Day in Denmark on the 13th) And then the whole country shuts down. So here we are emailing today. It was a pretty good week. We had splits on Saturday. Æ. Koop and I took their car and visited this old investigator out in the middle of nowhere (I didn't know that it was in the middle of nowhere so I'm glad we had a car for the day). This guy was way cool. He had read the Book of Mormon several times and loved it! But the problem is that his wife doesn't like religion so asked him not to join. So he just follows everything about the Mormons. He reads the Liahona every month online! This guy was way awesome. He asked if we had heard anything about the Mitt Romney campaign, I'm like no I'm on a mission! He's all like I hope he wins! And then he's talking about how one of his biggest desires was to see Temple Square. This guy was way cool and hopefully we can meet with him again. The even better part (ok not really) was that for the first time in nearly 9 months I drove a car!!!!! It felt soooooooo good!!!!!
Thanks for the box. I've already made Chicken and Pasta and Chicken Veloute on splits!!! I plan on doing alot more cooking now that I have some legit recipes. I did if you already didn't notice open the box, but I am going to save the candy for my birthday. I have already worn my Jimmer shirt quite proudly!!! :) Thanks so much you guys are the best family anybody could ask for.
This week we've got Specialized Training tomorrow and the most exciting part of the week is Friday. District Meeting and then a session in the temple. You have no idea how excited I am about that!!!!!
Yesterday, our ward mission leader invited us over for crepe breakfast and just to chill at his house. He is way cool. I gave him some of my American Mike and Ikes and he wasn't the biggest fan. Oh well. More to me!!! We then played basketball at the gym in Søborg. Yeah, so those are the highlights of the week. Love and miss you tons!!! Have a great week!
William
