So pretty good week overall. We worked alot. We went down from 7 eating appointments to 2, but it's all good. The ward is still way awesome. Our bishop is from Finland, that's pretty cool. I don't know if you remember Kasper Hansen from D2. I never met him, but everybody told me to talk to him when I got my mission call but he moved right when I got home from school. Anyway, he's from this ward. When I was eating at I think it was our ward mission leaders, I can't remember, but he said that he had a friend who lived in NC. I then had a hunch and asked further and he talked about how he was going to Duke, so I asked his name and I was like yeah that's my ward! I also found out that there was a Gundersen family that lived in Slagelse about 10-15 years ago and then moved to Iceland. I don't know if its that same one in South Boston, but it might be a relation.
Last night, we had our monthly open house at the mission home. I invited Kirsten and Per from Slagelse and had a great talk with them. (P.S. found out that sisters are going to Slagelse!!!!!) I introduced them to Søs. Williamson who's going to be training there starting this week. I think they like her. They kept telling me that if I ever wanted to visit that I should call and they'll pick me up at the train station. They also told me to keep texting and keep in touch with them even though there were other missionaries in Slagelse now. I love those guys, I'm sad that I can't keep teaching them. Præsident Andersen came up to me at the end of it and told me that he thinks that Kirsten and Per will definitely get baptized. He then said that he thought that I should do it. I got super excited and nervous at the same time. I'm excited because I could see them get sealed in the temple in a year. Oh, this is the awesome part of missionary work!!!!
Have a great week. I'm praying for Samuel. Say hi to everybody from me. I'm probably going to grab my box from the office this week. I hope it's ok if I open it when I get home. Or I might just save some of the stuff for the 19th. I don't know. Love and miss ya'll
